This Bed Blankets give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Hot
On the lowest setting, this blanket is hot. The 10 hour shut off is a nice extra. I turn it on to warm the bed before retiring for the evening. It takes the chill off the sheets in no time.

2. Warm, Warm, Warm!
Nice, quality blanket. My husband loves it! His chemotherapy leaves him cold so he uses this while sitting in his easy chair.

Not a good choice
I bought this blanket about a year ago, for use on very cold nights. I have used it about half a dozen times, and regret buying it.

Pros: Relatively lightweight and inexpensive. Gives off quite a bit of warmth. Fabric feels soft. Illuminated dial.

Cons: Heat level is very erratic, and very difficult to control. It sometimes becomes much too warm during the night, despite preheating it for several hours. A few times, it shut itself off during the night, for no apparent reason. The dial turns much too easily. The plug end of the blanket is uncomfortably heavy, due to the weight of the cord socket. It is difficult to disconnect the cord from the blanket.

Summary: There must be better choices. Avoid this blanket.
